Focus on Fusing: Principles of Firing Techniques
For those who want to learn about the details of kiln use, shelf preparation, firing schedules, terminology, product selection and side-by side comparison of the variables. This class is a discussion format that features some "hands-on" experience with each of the steps, including the determination and programming of firing schedules. Samples and notes provided.

Pocket Vase Wave or Individual Pockets
Create either a pocket vase wave with 4 pockets or 2 individual pocket vases. Fiber felt is used to create the vessel.

Crushed Glass Sunset
Who doesn't love a sunset or sunrise over Lake Michigan. Create one all your own to remind you of the beauty all year long. Crushed glass and found objects are arranged on the picture surface to create a stunning sunset. Resin will be applied after the class to finish the project.

Potted Plant Stakes
This is a fun class to get your creative juices flowing. You can create any design of your choice. We have seen many designs in the past ranging from flowers, gnomes, mushrooms, bees, and frogs. Learn the basics of cutting glass while creating 2 cute stakes for your potted plants.

Be it wishing for a robin or saluting a cardinal, this is a lovely sun catcher that can work inside or out. We thought these birds looked cute in a window, but you can make whatever design tickles your fancy.

Create year-round color in your garden. You design and cut your flower; after firing we attach a copper stem. These can also be made to hang on a wall if you prefer.
